Friday Paving Schedule
They will start around 8 tomorrow on Canaveral circle. East Iberian will be our last street and the entire area will be closed until at least 6 pm, possibly later. Please move your cars early if you need them. West Iberian is a safe spot to park. If you need a ride to your car just call me.
Thursday Paving Schedule
Thursday will be Delmarva and West Iberian. Please make your plans to move your cars if you need them.
Delmarva by 8:00 and Iberian by 10:00.
Delmarva will reopen around 4pm, Iberian 6-7 pm.
Friday will be Canaveral and East Iberian.
Both will be closed til 6-7pm.

Tuesday paving has been canceled due to the forecast.
Everything moves back a day. We are also changing Thursday and Friday.

Monday Schedule Paving
Monday morning Baja and 2300 block of Yucatan will be closed! Please move your cars if you need to go anywhere Monday! West Scandinavian is a safe street to park on for one day. We will have someone at the closed street entrance to help if you need to get back home before 7 pm.
Tuesday we might have rain, everything moves back one day and hopefully no other rain.
The school buses will be at the front gate only, except the handicap bus.
East and west Scandinavian will be the next street, please plan ahead.

The 2026 road repaving project is scheduled to start on April 20, 2026. This job will now take 4-5 days to complete if the weather cooperates. This is a change. They are bringing two pavers to work on the streets which will speed up everything. We will need patience and cooperation from everyone as we close streets for the entire day, stop lawn crews, stop deliveries from Amazon, UPS, trash pickup, construction crews, mail delivery, etc. We need you to contact your contractors, pool people, lawn maintenance etc. to help with this. We have told the trash companies to skip us that week and mail lady will be limited.
I will need your help on closed streets to get your automobile moved completely off your street before 7:30 am when we start there. Please be thinking about what you must do on that day and how to work around your car getting to a safe location in the neighborhood by 7:30. Your street will reopen between 6-7pm that day. If it needs to stay closed for a few more hours, we will try to have transportation available to get you home from the blocked street corner. We will also have a golf cart available during the day to help anyone that needs to get to their car or house while the street is closed.
I will be sending reminders out daily about which street tomorrow and what you need to do.
The plan starts on west Baja, east Baja and Yucatan on Monday April 20. west Scandinavian and east Scandinavian on Tuesday April 21, Delmarva, Canaveral north and Canaveral south on Wednesday April 22 and east Iberian, west Iberian on Thursday April 23. This daily schedule could change as we go depending on weather or problems we find. Those decisions will be made on the go.
Elite Paving will start working next week on prep work, which will be driveway grinding, repairs on circles and other prep work to start paving early Monday morning April 20th.
This is the biggest and most expensive repair our neighborhood has ever tackled, and we need everyone's help, cooperation, and patience.
I am asking for approval of $330,000 to spend on repaving and repairing our roads for 2026. We received bids from three major paving companies as Texas law requires and have signed a contract with Elite Paving Company.
